Sorry for being out of touch lately but I've had health scare (all ok now...whew!) and then I went home to see my family (nothing like mom's cooking).
Sooo....I have developed a nail polish addiction. I bought a few nail polishes, saw a couple of YouTube videos and that's all she wrote. I really think it got bad when I found the Julep website and became a Julep Maven. How that works is you take a quiz to find out what your style profile is (Boho Glam, Bombshell, It Girl or Classic With a Twist), then according to your style, colors are chosen for you and shipped once a month but you don't have to stick with your profile colors, you can switch profiles if you want. There is a huge variety of colors and finishes but the best part is the polishes are "4-free" and does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene or DBP. Also, the owner and CEO Jane Park has a program called Powered by Girlfriends in that a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of every Julep nail color is donated to organizations that empower women. How cool is that?!? That's a legacy to be really proud of.
Now, I have a little bit of everything. Besides Julep, I have, Essie, OPI, NYC, Maybelline, Wet & Wild, China Glaze and more.
Here are a couple of manicures that I've done. Now, please remember that I am in no way 'artistic' but I'm trying.
